This version of the “problem” video dives deeper into why custom event detection workflows fall short. Historically, transforming raw production data into event-ready insights required manual setups: writing custom scripts, involving data engineers, and repeating the same logic across plants.The Event Module was born out of this repetition. Factry’s team noticed that across industries, customers were solving the same problem — detecting batches, stops, cleanings, and anomalies — with slightly different scripts. So instead of writing it again and again, Factry built a generic, configurable layer inside the historian itself.The result: a flexible, powerful way to detect events — without custom development. That means faster deployment, easier collaboration, and event-rich insights that can be reused across sites or product lines.
