Ignition by Inductive Automation

Connect Ignition to Factry Historian

The Factry Ignition Connector is a native Ignition module that links Inductive Automation’s Ignition platform with Factry Historian. It streams real-time and historical data between both systems without duplicate configuration or custom scripts. Mark a tag for historization in Ignition and Factry Historian starts collecting it automatically. Use Ignition to query data from Factry Historian, including data from external sources, bringing calculations and context back into your SCADA layer.

Configure once, log everywhere

Mark a tag for historization in Ignition and Factry picks it up automatically. No duplicate configuration. When a new line is added to Ignition, Factry starts collecting it without extra setup.

Asset context, not flat tag lists

Tags are stored with plant structure by line, area, or equipment. Cross-line comparisons, energy-per-batch, and golden-batch analysis work without tag-name archaeology.

Store-and-forward included

The connector buffers data locally during network outages and replays it when the connection restores. No gaps in your historian.

Bi-directional

Ignition can also query data back from Factry Historian (including data from sources outside Ignition) so calculations and external context can flow back into your SCADA layer.
