Factry Historian v6.2 | External Database Connections
Connect Factry Historian to external databases to enrich your dashboards and make industrial data more contextual.

In this release, Factry Historian adds support for external database connections, allowing you to pull in contextual or reference data from PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other SQL-based systems. The video explains how this helps combine production data with operational context — such as batch properties, operator logs, or ERP metadata. You’ll see how external tables are linked to time-series signals, making dashboards more intelligent and reducing manual work. For example, instead of showing a tag ID, you can now show “Product: Blueberry Yogurt (Batch 1082)” — automatically enriched by the database connection. This feature strengthens Factry’s role as a unifier — not just storing data, but connecting it to the bigger picture.
