Our CEO Jeroen Coussement was recently interviewed by Alex Williams from The New Stack Makers on the value of open standards such as OPC-UA and open technologies like InfluxDB. In this podcast, Jeroen touches upon some key issues with industrial IT and why we believe manufacturers should get their process data into modern IT systems as quickly as possible.
"If both the people are separate and the technologies are separate, then the gap for collaboration between engineers and data scientists is too big. If we can at least consolidate on the technology they are using, then cooperation will be a lot easier in the future."
