Now, we’re looking for a creative mind to help us bring those stories to life visually.

The internship

Marketing at Factry is all about clarity. We take complex, technical ideas and turn them into simple, powerful stories, through words, visuals, and design.

As our Marketing Design Intern, you’ll help shape the visual side of that story.

You’ll create visuals for social media, help design event materials, support our website and content projects, and explore new ways to make Factry’s brand stand out in a world of industrial sameness.

Don’t worry — we don’t expect you to know everything on day one. You’ll learn how design fits into real campaigns, how we translate ideas into visuals, and how to create assets that feel consistent and on-brand.

What you’ll work on

During your 11-week internship, you’ll collaborate closely with our Marketing and Creative teams on:

• Social media visuals
• Create graphics, carousels, or animations for LinkedIn posts and campaigns.
• Event & campaign design
• Help design banners, slides, and visuals for trade fairs, Factry Connect, and product launches.
• Website & content visuals
• Support our ongoing website redesign and help translate complex topics into clear, visual explainers.
• Brand development
• Keep Factry’s brand consistent across channels  from typography and colors to layout and storytelling.
• Creative experimentation
• Explore new ideas like AI-generated visuals, motion graphics, or templates that speed up our creative workflow.

Depending on your strengths and interests, you can lean more toward graphic design, motion, or digital design.

What you’ll learn

• How design supports storytelling in a B2B tech environment.
• How to create visuals that communicate clearly — even about complex topics.
• How to collaborate with copywriters, marketers, and developers.
• How to work in a fast-moving marketing team with clear feedback loops.
• How to operate fully in English, since Factry is an international team with English-speaking colleagues.

You’ll fit right in if you…

• Are a Bachelor student in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Multimedia, or Marketing with strong visual skills.
• Have experience with tools like Figma, Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or After Effects (bonus).
• Are creative, curious, and eager to learn.
• Have an eye for detail, layout, and typography.
• Enjoy working in a small, collaborative team where ideas move fast.
• Are comfortable communicating in English every day.

Practical

• Duration: 11 weeks (full-time or minimum 4 days/week)
• Location: Ghent (Wintercircus), hybrid possible
• Language: All communication is in English
• Start: Flexible (typically February or September)
