We’re looking to bring in a friendly, well-spoken business development representative (BDR) to assist us in expanding our customer base across EMEA through various sales & marketing tactics. We are on pace to double (or triple?) in size this year, but need an extra pair of hands to assist the founders with a consistent flow of leads. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to start a commercial career on the ground floor of a fast growing software-as-a-service (SaaS) business and wants to grow with us.

You will research and screen potential customers who can benefit from our solution. As the first line of communication with prospects, the ideal BDR is a quick learner with strong communication skills, and with the ability to showcase our offering in a compelling way. You are not shy to engage with new leads, and are keen to understand their needs. Besides, we’ll ask you to think with us on how we can further boost Factry’s growth!

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Research prospect’s needs to showcase our offering in a compelling way
  • Execute on sales and marketing tactics that can bring in new clients (e.g. help to organise and promote a webinar, compile a target list for paid, online ads, etc.)
  • Build sales messaging and sales cadences for efficient and effective sales outreaches
  • Identify and list target accounts that are a best fit for using Factry
  • Initiate contact with potential clients through cold-calling and email or respond to inquiries generated from advertisements
  • Nurture a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps
  • Identify best practices to develop and refine the company’s lead generation playbook

You’ll need to demonstrate that you:

  • Have the ability to clearly articulate the business value proposition and use cases
  • Are empathetic and know how to think like potential clients
  • Have excellent written & verbal communication in Dutch and English (any other language is a plus)
  • Are self-motivated with ability to work in fast-paced, changing environment
  • Have a thirst for knowledge and growth in a start-up environment
  • Have a sense of urgency and persistence
  • Are flexible - we’re a small company that moves and reacts fast

Nice to have:

  • Prior lead generation, sales prospecting or marketing experience is a plus but not required
  • Familiarity with sales tools like Pipedrive, Hubspot, SalesNavigator (LinkedIn), Zoom
  • Understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms and experience with social tools
  • Proven track record of driving results
